Stoneware Bellarmine Jug with Incised Floral Decoration, probably Frechen, Germany, 16th or 17th century, ovoid jug with tooled spout and ribbed handle, decorated on the neck with a molded and applied design of a bearded man's face. Majority of jug dipped in an iron-oxide wash. Base chips and some in-the-firing flaws to surface. H 17 1/2".
