Westerwald Stoneware "GR" Mug with Incised Decoration, 18th century, highly-ovoid form with footed base and heavily-tooled collar, featuring elaborate incised floral and wreath motifs surrounding a Georgius Rex seal. Heavy cobalt highlights throughout. Manganese decoration to collar. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 6".
