Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Upstate SC origin, possibly Rich Williams, Gowensville area, Greenville County, late 19th or early 20th century, semi-ovoid jug with angular spout molding, the surface covered in a streaky, olive-colored alkaline glaze. Surface wear. A minor spout chip. Shallow chipping to base of jug. H 9 3/8".
