Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar, Upstate SC origin, possibly Rich Williams, Gowensville area, Greenville County, late 19th or early 20th century, semi-ovoid jar with applied lug handles and thin, flaring rim, the surface covered in a streaky, olive-colored alkaline glaze with high gloss. Surface wear. Otherwise excellent condition. H 9 1/2".
