We produce a traditional book-form, printed catalog and then use it as the basis for our web catalog. Because of this, these listings are not optimized for keywords, etc. In other words, searching for "New York" will not necessarily bring up listings where "NY" is used instead; naturally, searches for "Remmey" will not bring up listings attributed only as "Philadelphia." Potters' names often have variant spellings. Finally, searches are best kept to the fewest possible keywords. So all of this being said, while searching is a great way to begin looking at the catalog, it will not give you the same thorough picture that browsing around will.
