One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Freehand Cobalt Decoration, attributed to Williams & Reppert, Greensboro, PA, circa 1885, semi-ovoid pitcher with tall, flaring collar and tooled rim, decorated with brushed horizontal fuchsia design between two stripes. Heavy dash decoration to spout area. Cobalt stripe below rim. Cobalt highlight to upper handle terminal. Some restoration to right side of rim, including a restored diagonal 3 3/4" crack descending from it. A few small spots of fry or wear to cobalt. H 11 1/4".
