Rare Pint-Sized Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, ovoid pitcher with footed base and wide collar, decorated with two brushed tulips emanating from a stripe at the base. Swag decoration flanking the spout and descending from the rim on the sides of the pitcher. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Exceptional size. Excellent condition with a small base chip and minor surface crazing to foot. H 5 7/8".
