Large-Sized Molded Stoneware Jardiniere on Base, German, late 19th century, molded jardiniere with relief grapevine motif, resting atop a separately-fired pedestal base with relief grapevine and figural designs. Surfaces decorated in cobalt, teal, and purple slips and covered in a clear salt glaze. Jardiniere broken and reglued. Top of base with large loss and cracks. Chips to relief decoration. Short crack to bottom of base. H 43".
