Collection of Six Incised Stoneware Pitchers, Westerwald, Germany, 19th century, all of ovoid form with footed bases and narrow collars, each decorated with profuse incised and cobalt-highlighted floral and other designs. Four include original pewter lids. Largest with loss to pewter lid. Second largest with 2 1/2" hairline from rim. Third largest with loss to tip of lid. Fourth largest with base chips and an in-the-firing chip to handle. Two smallest pitchers in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of tallest, including lid) 14 1/4".
