Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Greensboro or New Geneva, PA origin, circa 1870, tapered jar with tooled midsection and shoulder and narrow "wax sealer" rim, decorated with four wide, brushed cobalt stripes. Minor chips and wear to interior of rim. A small chip to inner wax sealer rim. A 1/2" line from rim on front. A few very minor, approximately 1/2" surface lines to rim. A few bubbled spots to clay on underside. H 7 3/4".
