One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry Harrison Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1835, rotund jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with horizontal fan-shaped floral motifs. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals and a wavy line of cobalt below each handle. Excellent condition with a small rim chip. H 9".
