One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Southeastern PA origin, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with footed base, tooled collar, and heavily-tooled rim, decorated around the body with a large brushed swag and hanging flower motif. Leaf decoration to sides of collar. Stripes to spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with some light wear to front of spout and minor wear to flower below spout. H 11 1/2".
