Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "SEYMOUR & BOSWORTH / HARTFORD. CONN.," circa 1880, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a large slip-trailed floral spray accented with dotted trails. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. A long horizontal crack to base on front/side and a smaller horizontal crack to base on reverse, which meet on underside. Some minor staining. Small spots of fry to cobalt.
