One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "CORTLAND," Madison Woodruff and Romanzo Smith, Cortland, NY, circa 1867-1869, cylindrical jug with tooled shoulder and semi-squared spout, decorated with a double-stemmed flowering plant with well-detailed flowers and leaves. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Excellent condition with a green felt pad on underside and some minor staining.
