Unusual Glazed Redware Pitcher, possibly Midwestern origin, circa 1875, ovoid pitcher with tooled body, tall flaring collar, and extruded handle with surface covered in a clear lead glaze over colorful mottled ground with band of greenish coloration around body. A small chip and minor wear to handle. A tight 2 1/2" hairline to left of spout. Some wear to rim and spout. H 10 7/8".
