Fine Glazed Redware Jug, Galena, Illinois origin, 19th century, nicely-potted ovoid jug with splayed foot, wide ribbed spout, and small strap handle, the surface covered in a lead glaze over a colorful mottled green and orange ground. Excellent color and form. Restored rim chip. Small flake to shoulder. Glaze in overall excellent condition. H 10 1/2".
