Glazed Redware Jug, Galena, IL origin, second half 19th century, cylindrical jug with distinctive tooled spout, the surface covered in a lead glaze over a green ground with orange spotting. A small spout chip. Small scratches and light wear to surface. A small in-the-firing ping to shoulder. Some whitish residue to base and surface. Light wear to handle. H 8 5/8".
