Rare Miniature Stoneware Jug with Paper Label, Inscribed "WALTER DONAGHHO / PARKERSBURG, W.Va.", early 20th century, ovoid jug with Albany-slip-glazed surface, the front with red-bordered label featuring the printed blue signature "WALTER DONAGHHO / PARKERSBURG, W.Va.". Jugs of this type were reportedly given away as souvenirs at the Donaghho Pottery while under the ownership of Walter Donaghho, following the death of his father, A.P. Donaghho, in 1899. Jug in excellent condition. Some damage to paper label. H 2 1/4".
