Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Double Tulip Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1865, ovoid jug with tapered spout, the front decorated with two brushed tulip blossoming from a central stem. Excellent condition with a small chipped area to base and some light crazing to shoulder, possibly in-the-firing.
