Two One-Gallon Western PA Stoneware Jars, circa 1875-1885, both of similar cylindrical form with tooled shoulder and flattened rims, one stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO, PA" with stenciled flower, the other stenciled "WILLIAMS & REPPERT / GREENSBORO, PA" with stenciled flourishes. Hamilton & Jones jar in essentially as-made condition with contact mark to side and some light fry to cobalt. Williams & Reppert jar with some light wear to midsection and some fry to cobalt.
