One-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO, PA," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, rounded rim, and ledge on interior designed to hold a lid. Front decorated with Hamilton & Jones maker's stenciling, the midsection with finely-stenciled, stylized floral design. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
