Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jars, PA and WV origin, circa 1875, a cylindrical canning jar with heavily-rounded shoulder, flattened rim, and wax sealer interior, stenciled "A.P. Donaghho. / Parkersburg, W.VA., paired with a larger Western PA canning jar featuring three bold cobalt stripes. Donaghho jar with 7/8" glazed-over line at base on reverse, a chip to interior of rim, and several small nicks to interior of rim and inner wax sealer rim. Other jar with crack across underside, curving partway up side of jar. H (of Donaghho jar) 8".
