Unusual Large-Sized Redware Bank with Copper and Manganese Decoration, probably PA origin, late 19th century, beehive-form bank with tooled shoulder, stepped finial, and carved slot, decorated with a spotted copper and overlying spattered manganese decoration. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Excellent decoration. Very large reglued section extending from slot completely around reverse of bank to opposite side of slot. Additional restoration to top of finial. H 7 3/4".
