Small-Sized Stoneware Wax Sealer with Flowering Urn Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, decorated with a finely-stenciled design of an open-handled urn with roses, leaves, and drooping flowers extending from it. Provenance: Tom McCandless Collection, Hopewell, NJ. 1 3/8" rim chip. Small chip to interior of rim. H 6 1/2".
