Two Glazed Redware Jars, Galena, IL origin, second half 19th century, each of semi-ovoid form with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and colorful green-and-orange lead-glazed surface, the larger stamped with incomplete two-gallon capacity mark. Larger with exfoliation and matte areas to surface. Smaller with five small holes formed in underside after the firing, in otherwise excellent condition. H (of smaller) 11".
