Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, tapering jar with semi-rounded "wax sealer" rim and tooling to shoulder and midsection, brush-decorated with four stripes. A minor chip and a few tiny nicks to shoulder molding. A minor chip to inner wax sealer rim. Light wear to rim. Minor surface wear. H 6 3/4".
