Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Chicken Waterer, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, domed form with stepped finial and applied, hooded watering trough on front, brush-decorated with foliate motifs around the shoulder and watering trough. Restored finial. Restoration to bottom edge of opening of watering trough. Other unrestored chips to opening of watering trough. Watering trough with two faint, minor lines and a salt drip. H 10".
