One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry Harrison Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1835, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, footed base, and rounded rim, brush-decorated with a stem bearing three-petaled flowers and leaves. Bubbling to cobalt. An in-the-firing contact mark with burn near base. H 10 1/4".
