Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "JOHN BURGER / ROCHESTER," NY State origin, circa 1860, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed daisy plant featuring a detailed blossom and three hanging buds. Slip-trailed "3." below rim. A 4" hairline from rim on reverse. Staining to surface. Sticker remnant on interior. H 10 1/4".
