Rare Tanware Pitcher, Greensboro or New Geneva, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with short, flaring collar above a pronounced molding, brush-decorated in Albany slip with a rare angular line design flanked by graduated dashes, surrounded by dipped Albany slip treatment. Collar decorated with drape motif. Excellent condition with some old residue to handle and surface. H 5 1/2".
