Tanware Pitcher, Greensboro or New Geneva, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with tall, flaring collar and footed base, brush-decorated in Albany slip with an undulating fuchsia vine around the body between freehand dashes and spots. Collar decorated with unusual drape motif above a stylized eye flanked by flourishes. Albany slip stripes to handle and highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with light spout wear. H 6 5/8".
