Fine Tanware Flowerpot, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid, flare-rimmed form with attached saucer and free-swinging ring handles, brush-decorated in Albany slip with a stem bearing graduated swags between wavy stripes. Collar decorated with floral devices between freehand stripes. Base with floral devices. Stripe decoration to ring handles and applied loops. Two diagonal hairlines from rim on front, measuring 3 1/2" and 3". Traces of old green paint to surface. H 8 1/4".
