One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG .PA," circa 1865, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, brush-decorated with a tulip motif. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and handle terminals. Excellent condition with a narrow, in-the-firing chip to base on front and some staining. H 11".
