Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, attributed to W.F. Hahn, Trenton, SC, late 19th century, ovoid pitcher with footed base, semi-squared rim, and pronounced molding at base of collar, the surface covered in a mottled, olive-colored alkaline glaze with brown accents. Provenance: From a fifty-year SC collection. A 1 1/8" chipped section to spout including a 2 1/2" long inverted Y-shaped crack descending from it, the Y spanning approximately 4" across the pitcher's collar. Some wear to front of spout. Two small adjacent rim chips. Base chips. H 10 3/4".
