Small-Sized Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, probably Thomas Chandler Pottery, Edgefield District, SC, mid 19th century, ovoid jug with semi-squared spout and grooved handle, the surface covered in an olive-green alkaline glaze with large run to the front. Provenance: From a fifty-year SC collection. Excellent condition with a 2 1/4" diagonal line to shoulder. H 9".
