Scarce Salt-and-Albany-Slip-Glazed Bowl with Cobalt Stenciling, Stenciled "JAS. HAMILTON & CO.," Greensboro, PA, circa 1875, jiggered bowl with thick rim, the salt-glazed rim stenciled with James Hamilton maker's stenciling. A long, sideways L-shaped crack to body on front. Wear to cobalt. Two minor, smooth rim chips. Minor wear to interior. Diam. 11 1/4" ; H 4 5/8".
