Three-Gallon Stoneware Churn with Stenciled Cobalt Decoration, Stenciled "A.P. Donaghho, / Parkersburg. W.Va," circa 1875, cylindrical churn with tall collar and extruded lug handles, featuring a stenciled "3" within geometric border, a band of geometric stenciling, and A.P. Donaghho maker's stenciling, all applied diagonally. A large chip to each handle and an additional small chip to one handle. A small in-the-firing fissure to end of one handle. A 1" flake to interior of rim. A narrow 1 1/4" chip to side of rim. A few other minor rim chips. Light staining. Typical wear to Albany slip on interior base from use. H 15 3/8".
