Glazed Stoneware Jar, Stamped "H.H. ZIGLER / NEWVILLE, PA.," circa 1852-1865, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, the surface covered in a chocolate-brown Albany slip glaze. Underside impressed with Zigler maker's mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with an in-the-firing contact mark to rim. H 5 1/2".
