Small-Sized Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled PALATINE. / W.VA.," circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded "wax sealer" rim, featuring "PALATINE. / W.VA." maker's stenciling along with stenciled flourishes. Excellent condition with a small chip to interior of rim, a small chip to inner wax sealer rim, and light staining. H 6 5/8".
