Small-Sized Bellarmine Stoneware Jug, probably Frechen, Germany, 16th or 17th century, highly-ovoid jug with heavily-tooled spout, the neck decorated with a sprig-molded face of a bearded man. Salt-glazed surface. Excellent condition with a few tiny nicks to spout and some shallow chipping to base. H 7".
