Glazed Redware Mug, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1840-1880, cylindrical form with footed base, the surface decorated with sponged manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Underside impressed with John Bell maker's mark. Restoration to a large area of bottom of mug, including a section of interior base. A small rim chip and minor rim wear. A short line in underside. H 4 3/8".
