Unusual Molded Redware Pitcher with Manganese Decoration, attributed to John Bell, Waynesboro, PA, circa 1850-1880, molded pitcher with upswept spout and ornamental twig handle, decorated on two sides with a relief bust within a medallion surrounded by an abstract wreath. Surface decorated with streaked manganese under a heavy lead glaze. Very nice condition with wear to rim and handle's thumb rest. H 8 1/2".
