Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Chicken Waterer, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1885, domed form with stepped finial and applied water trough on front, brush-decorated with foliate devices to the shoulder and trough. Chips to opening of trough. Vertical hairline to interior back of trough. Finial with a large chip and two small chips. H 10 1/4".
