Rare Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Presentation Mug, New Ulm, MN origin, circa 1870-1890, semi-ovoid mug, incised with the cobalt-highlighted inscription, "Fritz Williams / New Ulm," above an incised and cobalt-highlighted floral motif. Brushed cobalt stripe decoration to handle. Handle tightly reglued. Tight cracks to underside and base. A 3/4" hairline from rim. Restoration to rim. A few minuscule rim nicks. H 4 3/4".
