Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "A. Conrad. / New Geneva / Pa.," circa 1875, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, featuring Alexander Conrad maker's stenciling flanked by flourishes. Very nice condition with a few minor nicks to shoulder molding, a spot of staining to reverse, and minor in-the-firing flaws, including two small in-the-firing chips to underside at edge. H 7 7/8".
