Fine Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Tulip Decoration, attributed to Henry Atchison, New Geneva, PA, circa 1860, tapered jar with narrow "wax sealer" rim, decorated with a large brushed design of a tulip emanating from a looping stem. A few rim chips on reverse. A small stone ping to interior of rim. H 8 7/8".
