Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "A. CONRAD. / SHINNSTON / W VA.," circa 1885, tapered jar with rounded "wax sealer" rim, featuring Alexander Conrad maker's stenciling below two freehand stripes. Several small chips to interior of rim. H 8 5/8".
