Stoneware Butter Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1870, cylindrical form with tooled shoulder and ribbed lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a brushed tulip motif. A thin 1 1/2" crack from rim. A minor in-the-firing base nick. A 1 1/8" in-the-firing iron ping to interior of rim. H 4 1/2"; Diam. 8".
