Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with footed base and semi-rounded rim, decorated around the midsection with a series of brushed leaves. Cobalt swag decoration to collar and spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a minor lime ping to spout. H 9".
