Scarce Glazed Redware Jar, Stamped "A. WILCOX / W. Bloomfield," Ontario County, NY origin, circa 1850, cylindrical jar with tall collar and flattened rim, decorated in a mottled tannish glaze, unusual for this maker. Base with Alvin Wilcox maker's mark. Two rim chips, measuring 7/8" and 5/8", as well as a tiny rim nick. Some exfoliation to underside. H 6 3/8".
